Hosted by the Marine Corps Association & Foundation in coordination with HQMC, please join us at the widely attended event where you will meet old friends, MCA&F members, industry partners, and others in the military community for an evening of education, networking, and most importantly, camaraderie.

We will celebrate the work of the Marine Corps Logisticians of 2011.  Honoring the Officer, Enlisted, and Civilian Logisticians of the Year as well as the Unit of the Year.

Verizon Donates $9,000 to support MCAF’s Green Libraries for Marines Program

The Marine Corps Association Foundation is pleased to announce that Verizon has generously provided $9,000 to support our new Green Libraries for Marines Program.  MCAF will now be able to provide Kindles loaded with e-books to select Marine Corps Units that contain books from the Marine Corps' Professional Reading List.

2012 Marine West Dinner
The Marine Corps Association & Foundation was front and center with a presence at the Marine West Expo at Camp Pendleton California at the end of January and early February. Staffing a booth at the EXPO, MCA&F staff members SgtMaj Kevin Bennet, USMC (Ret) and Ron Lunn, the association's staff photographer, were on hand to represent the association, greet the many visitors and recruit new members.

Over the past 4 years while serving as a Sergeant Major at two different units the MCA has provided important support. While stationed at Marine Corps Security Force Battalion, Bangor, Washington I conducted 8 Corporal Courses the MCA provide plaques, certificates, and books. This impacted over 200 Corporals and Petty Officers. Both the Marine and NCO of the Quarter were given the NCO handbook provided by the MCA for the 12 quarters I was the Sergeant Major.

The MCA was instrumental in the establishment of our company reading program. They provided us a book grant that was the cornerstone of our NCO reading program. By focusing on warfighting ethos, small unit tactics, and combat leadership the reading program greatly contributed to the esprit de corps and combat proficiency of the company.
