Verizon Donates $9,000 to support MCAF’s Green Libraries for Marines Program

The Marine Corps Association Foundation is pleased to announce that Verizon has generously provided $9,000 to support our new Green Libraries for Marines Program.  MCAF will now be able to provide Kindles loaded with e-books to select Marine Corps Units that contain books from the Marine Corps' Professional Reading List.

2012 Marine West Dinner
The Marine Corps Association & Foundation was front and center with a presence at the Marine West Expo at Camp Pendleton California at the end of January and early February. Staffing a booth at the EXPO, MCA&F staff members SgtMaj Kevin Bennet, USMC (Ret) and Ron Lunn, the association's staff photographer, were on hand to represent the association, greet the many visitors and recruit new members.

I want to relay my many thanks to everyone at Marine Corps Association and Military Historical Tours for providing me the opportunity to experience such a wonderful trip to Russia. I received the package today ( Thurs. 2/9), The Award is beautiful, it will display well with my other Collectibles. Although it is not the same format that I was presented in 1968, it was worth waiting 43 years to receive.  I have a photo of the original presentation to display with the plaque.
