MCAF Board of Directors - Mr. Larry Prior

Mr. Prior was named President and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech and was elected as a Director of the Company in June 2009. Before joining ManTech, Mr. Prior served in several executive positions at SAIC, Inc., a company with approximately 45,000 employees and $10 billion in annual revenue, including positions as Chief Operating Officer of SAIC (from October 2007 - June 2009); President of SAIC’s Intelligence, Security & Technology Group (from February 2005 to September 2007); and Senior Vice President, Federal Systems (from September 2004 to February 2005). Before that, Mr. Prior served as Chief Financial Officer and then President and Chief Executive Officer of LightPointe Communications, Inc. (from 2000 until 2004).

Lawrence B. Prior III was named chief operating officer of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) on October 1, 2007. SAIC has a strong commitment to supporting programs of national importance - helping to solve or undertake our country's and allies most significant problems. SAIC is a company of people dedicated to delivering best-value solutions through innovative applications of science and technology in the areas of national security, critical infrastructure, health, energy and the environment.

As chief operating officer, Prior has global responsibility for all of SAIC's business operations. Prior is focused on leading SAIC in achieving improved growth; fostering innovation and flexibility; and ensuring the customer mission remains the company's foremost priority. He ensures that customer focus is reflected in the company's strategy, made integral to leadership development, and supported by enterprise-wide collaboration.

Among Prior's significant accomplishments at SAIC over the years is his leadership of the company into the global marketplace by improving SAIC's operational responsiveness, including overseeing an innovative, corporate-wide program to streamline and improve corporate competitiveness.

Before joining SAIC, Prior served in a variety of executive positions in the high-tech industry and government. Earlier in his career, Prior worked in Washington, D.C. as a professional staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Prior graduated with a bachelor's degree in science from Loyola Marymount University and a master's degree from Georgetown University. He is also a graduate of The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
