Congratulations to the following Naval Academy Award Winners
The General Charles C. Krulak Award - MIDN 1/C Roarke C. Baldwin. This award is given to the graduating Midshipman who is commissioned in the United States Marine Corps who best demonstrates the Marine Corps values of “honor, courage, and commitment.” The Marine Corps Association presents this award in honor of General Charles C. Krulak, USMC, U. S. Naval Academy Class of 1964 and the 31st Commandant of the Marine Corps. General Krulak is very pleased that we help sponsor this award.
The General Ben H. Fuller Award- MIDN 1/C Michael J. Gobble, which is given to the graduating Midshipman who wrote the best military science paper in the Marine Corps Capstone course. The Marine Corps Association presents this award in memory of Major General Ben H. Fuller, USMC, and his son, Captain Edward C. Fuller, USMC. General Fuller was a U. S. Naval Academy graduate from the class of 1889 and the 15th Commandant of the Marine Corps. Captain Fuller was mortally wounded at the Battle of Belleau Wood.
The Marine Corps Association Award - MIDN 1/C Keegan R. Kinkade. This award is given to the Midshipman Marine selectee who graduates with the highest academic order of merit. This award in honor of the Marine Corps’ long tradition of doctrinal innovation and operational creativity.
