With the help of our dinner corporate sponsors, the MCA&F can donate 20 tickets to each of the MOS Schools aboard the Quantico MCB. These donated tickets give students an opportunity to experience networking, camaraderie and hear guest speakers speaking on issues facing the Corps.

PFC Nathan Trefethan Excels as Recruit Honor Grad

PFC Nathan S. Trefethan, from Sacramento, Calif., was recognized with the award at the April 19, 2013 India Company graduation for 3d Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.

A Silver Honor

At The Basic School, Marines are taught to learn from the examples set forth by past leaders. That legacy was permanetly etched for the recent honor grad of TBS's Fox Company and the recipient of the 1stLt Baldomero Lopez Honor Graduate Award.

MCA&F Wounded Warrior Awards Reception

With a rakish AV-8 Harrier flying shotgun above and flanked by realistic dioramas of Marines storming a beach and a hot LZ, the grandeur of the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ rotunda served as the setting for the 2nd Annual Wounded Warrior Awards Reception on 2 April 2013.

2012 MCA&F Ground Awards Dinner
MCA hosted the 9th Annual Ground Awards Dinner on Thursday, 28 June 2012 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. Co-hosted by HQMC Plans, Policies and Operations (PP&O) Division, the dinner served as the opportunity to recognize the professional achievements of the top performing officers and enlisted Marines in the ground community during 2011 and featured LtGen Dennis J. Hejlik, Commander, United States Marine Corps Forces Command; Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force Atlantic; Commander, United States Marine Corps Bases Atlantic; Commander, United States Marine Corps Forces Europe as the guest speaker and senior awards presenter.
