Sarah Cohen & All Our Friends At MCA:
Last week, I travelled to Philadelphia and joined many of our wounded, ill, and injured marines at the Union League to listen to a PME from General Mattis. As expected, it was an incredible evening. Every servicemember, and civilian, who attended was absolutely inspired by his disscusion. He made some outstanding points regarding the end of operations in Iraq and the furture of our involvement in Afghanistan.
All of us had a great evening. The discussion harkened back to why we joined the USMC. It wouldn't have happened without your involvement. I was very grateful that the Marine Corps Association helped accomodate our travel plans by aiding us with hotel rooms. All the marines were appreciative. Again, many thanks for all you are doing for our Corps and the Marines.
