I want to relay my many thanks to everyone at Marine Corps Association and Military Historical Tours for providing me the opportunity to experience such a wonderful trip to Russia. Had I not won this trip through MCA I may have never taken advantage of such fantastic travels. The group, the Russian Tour guide (Oleg Alexandrov) and Charlie Dunn were wonderful companions during the trip. It will be a memory I will cherish all of my remaing days on this earth.

The squadron can't thank you enough.  This will greatly enhance our PME program which has my rigorous support.  We currently have a comman and staff seminar at the squadron as well as participate actively in every resident PME from E4 to E9.  My maintenance chief is attending the FBI course later this month.  We are disciples of MCDP 1.

I just wanted to inform you that we received our books yesterday afternoon.  It was very exciting to open the box, find the various titles held within and realizing that "these books belong to us MALS-16".  We can't thank you and the MCAF enough for this great opportunity.  We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.  Have a great day Sir.

Dear General Usher,

Thank you so much for the certificate and gift you gave me at the MCWAR graduation. The certificate will be nice to show my kids as they get older and understand more about the Corps. The year at MCWAR was fantastic. We have a great school and its small size makes it unique among the War Colleges. I believe it is the gem of the MCU schools. Again, thank you for the kind gift and support to MCWAR.

Sarah Cohen & All Our Friends At MCA:

Last week, I travelled to Philadelphia and joined many of our wounded, ill, and injured marines at the Union League to listen to a PME from General Mattis. As expected, it was an incredible evening. Every servicemember, and civilian, who attended was absolutely inspired by his disscusion. He made some outstanding points regarding the end of operations in Iraq and the furture of our involvement in Afghanistan.
